GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE INTERNET BOOKING SYSTEM:
1) Acceptance
By making a booking the following general conditions are understood to have been accepted.
2) User
The person making the booking must be legally of age and accept liability for the veracity of the data input.
3) Booking
The booking is complete when the user has received the bookin confirmation by e-mail containing the booking reference number.
4) Data
All the data input by the user is saved on a secure server and we guarantee that access to this information shall be exclusive to the hotel and shall only be used for the purposes of the booking itself and to nitify the client of future promotions or special offers.
5) Limits
The system reserves the possibility of limiting bookings, in terms of the number of rooms and the number of overnight stays.
6) Reservations
Once Terrallar, S.L. has confirmed availability of one of the apartments, the gust must pay a deposit of 25% of the total cost of the visit via credit card or bank transfer. No reservation is made with Terrallar, S.L. until this initial quantity has been received. The period of the visit must be clearly specified together with the number of occupants in the apartment. Terrallar, S.L. has the right to reject a request for a reservation without any obligation for justification.
If the client cancels, then the client is obliged to pay the cancellation costs according to paragraph 3.
7) Paying for the visit in full
The 75% rest part of the amount will be PAYED IN CASH when you arrive at the apartment, remember, without cash you can't entry at the flat. (Please remember, NO CASH, NO CHECK IN!).
In the check in we'll charge 200€ as a guarantee, which will be returned at the end of the stay if there is no damage and no items oh the inventory are missing.
In excepcionals cases the pay will be doing by bank transfer, always we received the total price of the rent (you must pay the transfer taxes) in our bancary count one week your arrival and we did confirm you the reception of the pay..
8) Extra charges depending on arrival time
People checking in later than 8pm will be have to pay an extra charge. Those extra charges are to be paid directly to the check-in person on the spot.
9) Cancelation by the client
If the client cancels a fully paid reservation, there is a cancelation charge that will depend on the number of days before the beginning of the rental period. Please note that the 25% reservation deposit is non-refundable:
- More than 90 days before: 20% of the total amount.
- 60-89 days before: 30% of the total amount.
- 30-59 days before: 50% of the total amount.
- Less than 30 days before: 100% of the total amount.
- If for any reason beyond their control, including force majored.
· In the event that the client changes the dates, it will be understood as a new stay and it shall be subject to the cancelation conditions.
· It is strongly recommended that clients purchase trip cancelation insurance. Any cancelation, including force majored, will be subject to our clear and simple cancelation policy stated herein.
· Terrallar, S.L. should be unable to provide to the client the property he has booked, they reserve the right to transfer him to a property of similar characteristics.
· If no agreement can be reached both contractual partie are authorised to cancel the contract. In this case Terrallar, S.L. will refund to the client all monies paid (except the part corresponding to the days that the apartment was used, if this were the case). Terrallar, S.L. will not be liable for further claims by the client.
10) Changing dates
If the guest changes dates for the visit, this will be considered as a new visit and the previous visit will be subject to the cancelation conditions detailed above in paragraph 3.
11) Changes made by Terrallar, S.L.
Although it is extremely unlikely that Terrallar, S.L would makee changes to a fixed agreement, this may occasionally happen and we will warn you as early as possible. If, for any reason beyond our control, it is not possible for the company to provide the guest with the reserved apartment, Terrallar, S.L. will provide the guest with comparable or superior accomodation. The guest will not have to meet the difference in price if the new accomodation is more expensive. If the price of the replacement accomodation is less than taht of the original, Terrallar S.L. will pay the difference immediately, or will compensate the client with any quantity owed by the client. If it is not possible to make these arrangementes or, for some reason, the client does not wish to be transfered, then the reservation will be canceled and the client will be reimbursed with any amounts paid. Terrallar, S.L. will not be held responsible for any subsequent obligations or demands made by the client.
12) Number and identity of the guests
The guest must give us his/her name, address, telephone and age as well as the number of people that will accompany them during the visit. Only those persons detailed by the guest in the reservation are permitted to use the apartments. The number of people per apartment must not exceed the number of designated places per apartment (except in the case of babies under one year old). Animals are not permitted, except with specific authorization. If Terrallar, S.L. or its local agents identify a violation of any of these stipulations, the company retains the right to evict the inhabitants with no compensation to the guest.
13) Checking out. Penalty for late check-outs
Guests must leave the apartment before 11am on the day of departure, unless they have advance authorization from the company. The company will charge 50% of the price of one day, if the guest checks out of the apartment between 11am and 2pm withou prior authorization. If the guest leaves after 2pm without authorization, the company will charge 100% of the price of one day.
14) Water, electricity and other extras
Unless indicated otherwise in the agreement, the costs generated by the use of electricity, hot and cold water, gas and domestic appliances are all included in the apartment price with an assigned limit of 10kw day. At the end of the stay, if limit had been exceeded, Terrallar S.L. will invoice in charge of the guest.
15) Security deposit
In some cases, we may demand a security deposit when you make your reservation. The security deposit covers the cost of any damages caused to the apartment and its contents (inside our outside) during the visit, except for normal wear and tear. The deposit will be returned to the guest within 2 days of the guest's departure. If the cost of the damages caused to the apartment is greater than the amount of the security deposit, the guest will be charged the additional costs of repairs. If no security deposit was charged and the guest causes damages that cannot be attributed to normal wear and tear, the guest will be charged the costs for repairs.
16) Complaints
Terrallar, S.L. declines any responsibility for lift malfunction or any other inconveniences beyond our control. We will, however, act diligently in order to rectify any problems. The guest does not have the right to claim compensation for inconveniences that cannot be attributed to Terrallar S.L. If, however, the guest is forced to move to a hotel while repairs are made, Terrallar S.L. will return the money paid for the visit over these days. If any problem should arise during the week, please inform us of this before leaving the apartment. Complaints lodged at the end or after the visit will not be considered. If the guest leaves the apartment without informing Terrallar, S.L they will lose all rights to compensation.
17) Cleaning
The apartment will be cleaned before the arrival of every guest. Upon checking out, the guest must leave the apartment in a reasonable condition. If this is not the case, we will charge the guest with the additional cleaning costs. At an additional cost, we can arrange cleaning services more frequently than the standard weekly basis.
18) Behaviour
The signatory to the agreement is responsible for the correct and decent behaviour of all the guests. If this person, or any other member of his/her group behaves in an unacceptable manner according to common standards, Terrallar S.L reserves the right to evict the inhabitants with no compensation to the guest.
19) Responsability
Neither Terrallar S.L nor the owner of the property can be held responsible for the consequences of the use of the property made by the tenant, including damages, injuries, fire damage, robbery or criminal activities.
